Sun TV comes live on Reliance mobile phones

Reliance Communications on Wednesday announced its tie-up with Sun TV Network to beam all the programs of Sun TV, the leading 24-hour Tamil channel online on Reliance mobile handsets. While Reliance Communications has similar tieups with several national news channels, this is the first time it is tying up with an entertainment channel for streaming live video content on-line for its subscribers. Hosted on the Reliance Mobile World, the multimedia suite of applications of Reliance Mobile, the ‘mobile TV’ enables subscribers to watch any of Sun TV’s current programs from anywhere on their Reliance Mobile phones.
