Air Deccan adjudged best low-fare airline

Air Deccan has been declared as the best low-fare airline in India for 2006 by the Air Passenger Association of India (APAI). A poll was conducted among APAI members, aviation correspondents and frequent flyers from various industrial bodies. Air Deccan MD Capt GR Gopinath said: “This is an endorsement of the Air Deccan vision of enabling every Indian to fly. Air connectivity is the key to harness the vast potential; that the tourism and hospitality industry has in India.”
