McDonald’s Retail opens restaurant in Himachal Pradesh

US fast food giant McDonald’s has opened its first restaurant in Himachal Pradesh. Savoy Resorts at the scenic Jabli, 70 km from here, attracts holidaymakers heading from the plains to the popular resort towns of Shimla, Kasauli, Chail and beyond. It is this segment on the busy Kalka-Shimla national highway that the company aims to capture.
