KamaSutra launches personal care products
Condom-maker KamaSutra launched a range of deodorants and after-shave lotions to make its longpending entry into the Rs 9,000-crore personal care market. “We wanted to extend the brand and get into the personal care market for a few years now,” says JK Ansell (makers of KamaSutra condoms) president Aniruddha Deshmukh. The deodorants that are named Spark, Dare and Urge for men and Provoke’ and Intention for women will initially be launched in metros and will be priced at about Rs 150 for a 150 ml spray can. The company has a marketing budget of about Rs 7 crore.
